Is the Mankind Project Right For Me?
You don’t need to be broken, spiritual or in crisis to get involved with the MandKind Project, sit in a free men's circle, or to do the New Warrior Training Adventure men's initiation weekend. You just need to be honest enough to say something in you life isn’t working the way you want it to. The ManKind Project is built for men of all backgrounds — straight, gay, trans, young, old, conservative, liberal, religious, atheist. If you’re ready to take a deeper look at yourself in a safe, structured environment, you belong here.
Is this a scam?
Nope. There’s no hidden agenda, upsell, or shady organization behind the curtain. The ManKind Project is a nonprofit run by men for men, operating globally for 40 years. Thousands of men have gone through it and come out clearer, stronger, and more open-hearted. You pay once for the weekend training and for the follow up sessions. That’s it. The value you get hinges on how deep you're willing to go.
Is this some kind of cult?
No robes. No chanting. No leader to obey. Just men, being real, holding each other accountable, and telling the truth — often for the first time in their lives. The ManKind Project challenges you to think for yourself, not blindly follow anything. You leave with tools, not rules.
Is this religious or faith-based?
Not at all. You can believe in God, the universe, nothing at all — it doesn’t matter. The ManKind Project respects all belief systems but doesn’t preach or push any. The only thing it asks is that you show up open to doing real work on yourself, whatever that looks like.
Is this therapy?
No. It’s not therapy, and no one’s playing therapist. The ManKind Project doesn’t diagnose or treat. It reveals. It’s experiential, not clinical. You’ll work through real emotions, life patterns and limiting beliefs, but you’ll do it alongside other men, not across from a professional taking notes.
Is this just for soft, woke guys?
Hard no. The ManKind Project isn’t about virtue signaling or chest-thumping bravado. It's about real masculinity. That means strength and emotional honesty. You’ll meet firefighters, therapists, construction workers, CEOs, vets, artists — men from every walk of life. Liberal or conservative, it doesn’t matter. You’re there to grow, not debate.
